A hospitality group is searching for remarkable fathers in the community this Father’s Day weekend.
Butcombe Pubs & Inns, based in Oxfordshire, is inviting people to put forward exceptional dads, paternal figures, or outstanding grandads for a special reward.
Running across June 19, 20, and 21, the initiative seeks to honour caring fathers, nurturing step-parents, or any dedicated paternal figure who consistently exceeds expectations.
The winning father hero will receive a complimentary indulgent brunch spread at their nearest Butcombe establishment.
As head of food and beverage at Butcombe Group, Alice Bowyer explained that the recognition aims to highlight fathers and paternal figures who tirelessly support, motivate, and positively impact others without seeking acknowledgment.
Those wishing to make a nomination can do so through their chosen Butcombe pub’s Instagram account by submitting a short entry of no more than 50 words. Nominations should explain what makes the individual special, how they benefit their family or local community, and the reasons they merit celebration during the Father’s Day weekend.
The sharing-style Big Daddy Brunch comprises a grilled bacon chop, Saxon sausages, Stornoway black pudding, roasted mushrooms and tomatoes, hash browns, baked beans, fried eggs, pub chips, toast, and fried bread, accompanied by unlimited tea or coffee, with prices starting from £40.
Submissions are currently being accepted through participating pubs’ Instagram profiles, with the recipient set to be revealed before the Father’s Day weekend.
Butcombe Pubs & Inns operates several venues in Oxfordshire, including The Trout at Tadpole Bridge, The Victoria Arms in Old Marston, and The Prince of Burford in Burford.
