Wantage and Grove’s local policing unit has begun its yearly consultation exercise.

The fresh questionnaire is collecting opinions from residents across the region, spanning from East Challow through to Blewbury and from the Ridgeway out to Steventon.

A representative for the Wantage and Grove Neighbourhood Policing Team stated that last year community members put forward their three main concerns, and the team has been addressing these since then, progressing steadily in their efforts.

The representative acknowledged that no police force operates flawlessly and that continuous improvement remains necessary.

The representative added that while the team cannot represent every force nationwide, they can concentrate on creating positive change within their own local communities.

Residents are encouraged to share their views on matters they believe require attention, as well as highlight approaches to policing that are working well.

Concerns and suggestions for enhancement are also invited as the Wantage and Grove officers continue their pledge to respond to community issues.

With the June 30 deadline approaching, the neighbourhood policing team is eager to attract input from diverse segments of the local population.
