A suburban post office close to Abingdon has reopened under the same operator after moving to new premises.
The Milton outlet ceased trading at its 11 H Milton Park address on Tuesday, April 28, finishing business for the day. Service has since transferred to larger, modernised facilities.
The postmaster started serving customers at Signal Yard, 7b Park Square in Milton Park, on Thursday, April 30.
The previously vacant unit has been transformed to include a greetings cards and stationery retail area alongside the postal counter services.
The new site features two sleek low-screen service points and stands roughly 500 metres away from the original location. Both regular and disabled parking is available.
Zoe Hall, Post Office retail change lead, explained that the company recognises how important a Post Office is to local residents, and that the newly renovated space is presented well with a comprehensive range of products available in the shop.
Milton Post Office remains open Monday to Friday, between 9am and 5.30pm.
