A fallen tree blocking a main road through an Oxfordshire village is causing problems for drivers.
Reports indicate a tree has collapsed on the A4095 Radcot Road in the area of Radcot, near Faringdon during the morning.
The blockage was first reported by AA Traffic News at approximately 10am on Wednesday, April 29.
The obstruction is affecting the stretch between Thrupp Turna and Radcot Bridge Farm, by the bridge spanning the River Thames.
Drivers are facing delays in both directions along the single-carriageway road, heading towards Clanfield or Faringdon.
Meanwhile, Radcot Road has been subject to a prolonged closure for surface dressing work.
The road was originally intended to stay shut from Tuesday, April 28 at 4am until Saturday, May 2 at 6pm, depending on weather conditions, though road users have indicated the route was clear by Wednesday morning.
