Trains travelling in the direction of Reading faced disruption and cancellations on Wednesday after people gained access to the tracks in Oxfordshire.
The train company confirmed on Wednesday afternoon (April 29) that trespassers had entered the railway lines close to Didcot Parkway station.
The issue is affecting services bound for Reading, with the occurrence situated on the line between Didcot and the destination.

Due to trespassers on the railway between Didcot Parkway and Reading, several lines have been blocked off. Services operating to and from both stations may encounter delays or cancellations. Disruption is expected to continue until 18:00.
The train operator warned that this disruption is expected to persist until approximately six in the evening.
A post shared on social media by the company explained that because of intruders on the railway between Didcot Parkway and Reading, certain lines have been closed off. The post added that train operations travelling to and from these locations might be subject to cancellations or postponements. It further stated that problems are anticipated to last until 6pm.
