A fish and chip establishment in Oxford is preparing to welcome customers again following a change of hands.

The venue on Cowley Road, formerly trading as Smarts Fish and Chips or Littlemore Fish Bar, is being taken over by an incoming ownership team.

The new operators have committed to providing an upgraded experience for diners and visitors to the restaurant.

Patrons can return from Thursday, April 30, when the fresh management takes charge of the well-established shop.

According to the incoming proprietors, they wanted to update local residents that the Littlemore-based outlet would be returning to service on Thursday, April 30, with a fresh team in charge and numerous positive changes in store.

Efforts to obtain further details from the business proved unsuccessful, with no reason given for why the previous operators left.
