A Didcot resident has made a court appearance on allegations of making threats to kill and beating someone.
Kevin Walls, living in Halse Water in Didcot, had been due to stand trial at Oxford Crown Court on Monday, April 20.
The defendant, aged 45, faces several allegations including threatening to kill a woman, brandishing a knife to threaten someone at a private address, causing actual bodily harm, beating someone, destroying property and stealing money.
The claimed offences allegedly took place on November 4 and 5 last year, with both directed at the same woman.
The matter failed to go ahead as planned on the original date, and a fresh trial date has been set for July 29, with hearings anticipated to span three days.
Kelly Purcell-Chandler is presenting the case for the prosecution, while Lyall Thompson is acting for the defence.
Walls is being held in prison while awaiting trial.
