Aerial photographs have revealed exclusive images of a new £24 million upscale retreat in the Oxfordshire portion of the Cotswolds, with doors set to open in 2027.
Last month it was revealed that design-focused sustainable cabin company CABÜ would create a fresh destination in this celebrated stretch of English countryside.
The Cotswolds development represents a luxury woodland escape planned to welcome guests the following year on a 25-acre forested area in Langley, close to Witney.
The location originally served as a radio broadcasting facility before undergoing conversion in the late 1980s, when British Telecom used it as a residential training centre for a decade and a half.
From 1993 onwards, the site became the Leafield Technical Centre and grew into a dedicated motorsport complex, but has remained derelict since 2014 when the Caterham racing outfit entered administration.
West Oxfordshire District Council gave the green light to the project in November 2023.
The brand announced recently that building work is progressing smoothly, with the resort firmly scheduled for its 2027 debut.
Fresh aerial imagery now displays the West Oxfordshire location taking shape in readiness for its planned opening.

Excavation equipment appears in the images, which also reveal the site has been levelled, preparing the way for foundation work.
Certain structures are already in position, though these will shortly be joined by additional cabins and amenities over the coming months.
The development will comprise 51 self-service eco-cabins with accommodation spanning one to three bedrooms.
According to management, every cabin will present thoughtfully designed interiors featuring modern finishes, natural resources and comfortable living areas that harmonise with the local landscape.

Aligned with CABÜ’s commitment to conscious, minimal-impact travel, the site will provide various amenities centred on unwinding and engagement with the natural world.
These encompass an indoor pool alongside a natural swimming lake.
Elsewhere, guests will find a nature-based wellness centre offering saunas, heated pools and cold immersion facilities, along with a retail outlet, two drinking establishments and a studio for gatherings.
CABÜ House, serving as a communal focal point with check-in, sitting areas and restaurant facilities, will also feature alongside gentle pursuits such as forest trails, exercise sessions and technology-free breaks.
The company’s creators, JP Ledwidge and Olivia Hutchinson, commented that the Cotswolds location embodies their conviction that contemporary hospitality must balance innovative design with ecological consciousness.

Modern visitors are looking for more than merely somewhere to spend the night, seeking experiences that nurture wellbeing, encourage bonding and provide opportunity to unwind.
This fresh destination was conceived with precisely that purpose at its core.
It was confirmed this week that reservations should become available in late 2026, with stays possible throughout the year.
The company currently operates two established properties, CABÜ by the Sea on Romney Marsh in Kent, and CABÜ by the Lakes in County Cavan, Ireland.
