A community choir will perform a world premiere of a newly commissioned piece.
The Burford School Community Choir will perform the premiere of Five Acts of Human Kindness conducted by Sean Frankom.
On June 23, the piece will be performed at St John the Baptist Church in Burford.
The piece, written by Bob Chilcott, was specifically commissioned by the Burford Institute of Music for the choir.

Students, parents, staff, alumni, and members of the local community make up the local community choir.
Five Acts of Human Kindness reflects on everyday acts of kindness, some of which are rooted in London.
As a composer, Mr Chilcott expressed that his inspiration comes from narratives and texts.
He said: “When thinking about a project that would involve a choir associated with a school, Burford School, I tried to find an idea to reflect what the spirit of community and the collective might mean to us.”
He explained how he approached his friend, the poet Charles Bennett, to write the lyrics.
He added: “The word kindness is very much part of the zeitgeist, and is a word that resonates deeply within the world of community and the collective, through the ways that we learn respect and care for each other.
