Around 300 members of Oxfordshire’s Young Farmers Clubs converged for the contest.

The gathering featured a wide range of pursuits including rope pulling, livestock assessment, emergency care skills, horse expertise, and cookery.

A spokesperson for Bicester and Islip YFC declared that the occasion was wonderful, with competitors displaying their talents and discovering fresh competitive opportunities.

Above all, they had a great time.

The spokesperson noted that anticipation is high for the Oxfordshire Young Farmers County Show and Rally set for Sunday 24th May at South Farm in Shifford.

Adding that the event would offer entertainment for all ages, complete with YFC competitions, polo exhibitions, Shire horses, wool clipping, steam-powered machinery, classic tractors, a canine competition, craft area and market stalls.

Supporters who have backed the organisation for years alongside former YFC members took on judging duties for the various contests.
