A new digital presence combined with fresh trips along the Thames are set to debut in Oxfordshire.

The Wallingford Accessible Boat Club has unveiled its revamped internet site and is now taking bookings for 2026 outings, offering at no cost two-hour journeys for disabled people and those with movement difficulties.

The upgraded web portal, developed by Clean Slate Solutions situated in Woodcote, highlights the charity’s goal of allowing those with disabilities and limited mobility to experience the River Thames.

John Jenkins MBE, chairman of WABC, remarked that the organisation is entering a particularly exciting phase with the upcoming season.

The volunteer teams have got everything ready and are set to begin sailing.

Their beloved wheelyboat called WOW-one has received improvements to its passenger facilities and the group now has a freshly designed website.

Clean Slate Solutions, founded in 2020 by Darren and Michelle King, partnered with the charity after spotting its fundraising campaign on social media.

Mr King mentioned that seeing WABC’s latest request for support on Facebook compelled them to offer their services to this admirable cause.

Working alongside the charity’s members has been genuinely satisfying, and they hope the new digital platform helps WABC achieve continued growth.

The club operates a specially constructed boat enabling wheelchair users and individuals with mobility restrictions to board and disembark with simplicity and comfort.

Those on board may take the helm should they wish, with voyages offering picturesque views, fishing opportunities, or peaceful time spent on the river.
