The Tesco Finest packages enable shoppers to assemble their own high-end sandwiches from the comfort of their kitchens, as the meal kit market continues to expand.

Every package provides components for constructing three sandwiches, retailing at £3.75 or £3 for Clubcard members.

However, one particular aspect has caught consumers by surprise.

The bundles exclude bread and salad entirely, meaning shoppers mustsource these essentials themselves, according to creatorzine.

The collection features three varieties: Salt Beef Brisket paired with Emmental cheese, Chicken and Bacon Caesar, and Wiltshire Cured Ham combined with Barber’s Mature Cheddar.
