The Painswick establishment in Painswick, situated centrally in the Cotswolds, provides another opportunity to enter the fictional region of Rutshire.

This 18th century Palladian-style stone residence serves afternoon tea, houses a recently redesigned restaurant, and serves as a starting point for countryside walks throughout the area.

Calcot & Spa occupies another property within 200 acres of restored Cotswolds landscape.

Situated in Tetbury, this location served as the setting for the fictional village of Cotchester during filming. The venue provides tennis facilities, disc golf, a distinguished spa, and bicycles for touring the grounds.

The second season of Rivals was shot at various sites throughout the region, including Berkeley, Corsham, Berkeley Castle, Tetbury, Chavenage House, and Neston Park.
