Officers impound Vauxhall Corsa in Oxfordshire

A Vauxhall Corsa has been confiscated by officers in Oxfordshire.

Thames Valley Police pulled over the vehicle on London Road in Oxford during the evening of Tuesday, April 21, and subsequently took possession of it.

According to authorities, the motorist was unable to produce a valid driving licence and lacked motor insurance, which led to the seizure of the vehicle.

The law enforcement agency shared details of the confiscation with the public through a Facebook post on Wednesday, April 22, accompanied by an image.

A representative for Thames Valley Police stated: “Licence and insurance, anyone?

“Last night, officers from TBAShift stopped this vehicle on London Road, Oxford.

“Checks revealed the driver held no driving licence and had no insurance.

“Unfortunately, that’s a double no, so the drive stopped here.

“Stay legal. Stay insured. Stay safe.
