Viral TikTok Encounter at Oxfordshire Deli Takes Internet by Storm

Published on

A popular content creator from TikTok made an appearance at a sandwich establishment in Oxfordshire recently.

Staff members at Delice, a deli and café in Witney, shared images of the visit on Facebook, calling the social media star their special visitor in Witney that day and displaying photos of him inside the shop.

Gymskin, whose real identity is Jack Smith, is a 32-year-old digital content creator from Essex who has rapidly become one of Britain’s most talked-about online personalities.

His rise to fame comes from his spontaneous humour, lengthy rants, and recognisable catchphrase.

He first built an audience through workout clips and social experiments before achieving widespread fame across TikTok, Instagram, and the streaming service Kick.

Commentators in the industry have given him the title of the most viral man in Britain, citing his consistently positive content and willingness to mock himself in an online landscape often filled with arguments and negativity.

Gymskin’s recent explosion in popularity has been largely driven by his contagious follow that tune segment.

In the original recording, filmed during one of his live broadcasts, he was walking along a street in the evening when he noticed music playing nearby and instructed his camera operator to follow that tune, then did a short dance with shoulder movements as he headed toward where the music was coming from.

Viewers extracted that phrase and the dance steps, sparking a TikTok and Reels craze where people use the audio to showcase songs that motivate them or replicate his walking style and choreography.

The track heard in the background is Madonna’s 1985 song Into The Groove, which has since climbed back onto UK music charts due to this internet sensation.

His trip to Witney took place during an especially hectic schedule that most recently involved a journey to Etihad Stadium in Manchester on Sunday.

Gymskin was present as Manchester City secured a 2-1 victory over Arsenal in a Premier League fixture between the top two teams in the division.
