A collection featuring James Bond titles was available at a specialized event hosted by Oxford Brookes University.
Approximately 70 booksellers participated in the weekend PBFA Oxford Book Fair at Oxford Brookes University, which took place on April 18 and April 19.
These vendors had available tens of thousands of rare, collectible, and pre-owned books, maps, and documents, featuring portions of Ian Fleming’s James Bond collection alongside works by Jane Austen.
Booksellers Blackwell’s and Hatchards were present at the event, with novels by Aldous Huxley and Virginia Woolf also among the offerings.
The fair was coordinated by Grace Barham and Tom Lintern-Mole of the Premier Book Fair Association. Merchandise was priced from as low as £2 to exceeding £1,000, and refreshments were served from a café located on the premises.
The PBFA has also disclosed plans for another one-day fair at Oxford Brookes, scheduled for Saturday October 17.
