The legal proceedings against a man from Didcot accused of making kill threats have been postponed.
Kevin Walls, residing in Halse Water, Didcot, was scheduled to appear at Oxford Crown Court on Monday, April 20.
The defendant, aged 45, faces multiple charges including making threats to end a woman’s life, wielding a knife in an enclosed space, causing actual bodily harm, physical assault, property destruction, and taking money.
The alleged incidents occurred on November 4 and 5 of the previous year, both targeting the same woman.
Defence counsel Gareth James informed the court he would be unable to continue representing Walls.
The accused expressed his wish to secure alternative legal representation, prompting the scheduling of a hearing for the following week to arrange new barrister services.
