Roadworks are set to cause disruption on a Bicester route in Oxfordshire next week.
Middleton Stoney Road will undergo surface treatment operations, necessitating a full closure of the highway.
The affected stretch runs between Shakespeare Drive and Oxford Road, with the closure in place from April 21 until April 25.
Each day, no vehicles will be permitted between 4am and 6pm to allow the surface dressing to be carried out under a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order.
Bicester Town Council confirmed that the order has been put in place to facilitate the temporary road closure required for the surface dressing work on the B4030 Middleton Stoney Road section between Shakespeare Drive and Oxford Road.
The council added that notices for urgent works are limited to a maximum of five consecutive days.
