Essential works force road closure in Oxfordshire town

Stanton Harcourt Road in Witney will be closed temporarily on July 3rd to allow pole replacement works to take place.

The road will be shut between 8am and 6pm on that day.

Barr Engineering Services Ltd applied for the closure to carry out essential pole replacement operations.

Emergency works notices cannot exceed five consecutive days.

Witney Town Council confirmed that Barr Engineering Services Ltd sought permission for a temporary closure along a portion of Stanton Harcourt Road to enable essential pole replacement work to be undertaken.
