Fans Back Clarkson After Lisa Hogan’s Statement

Fans of Jeremy Clarkson have expressed solidarity with the TV star after his partner Lisa Hogan shared a social media tribute.

The broadcaster, who turned 66, has been dating the Irish actress since 2017, with the couple making their television debut together in 2021 when Clarkson’s Farm launched.

The former Top Gear and Grand Tour host owns a £12.5 million home on his 1,000-acre Diddly Squat Farm, situated between Chadlington and Chipping Norton in the Oxfordshire Cotswolds.

The presenter recently celebrated his 66th birthday on April 11, with Ms Hogan marking the milestone by sharing an Instagram photograph with a caption calling him a cool cat and wishing him many more years.

The image posted by the couple attracted supportive responses from followers.

One commenter expressed admiration, saying they found the couple adorable and wished for a similar relationship someday, along with happiness for them both.

Another commenter noted the choice of Squeeze’s Cool for Cats as the post’s soundtrack, praising both the photo and the song selection as coming from, in their view, the best band ever.

A third user questioned whether Mr Clarkson had proposed marriage.

Last year, Ms Hogan spoke about the pair’s relationship in a Daily Mail interview.

She explained that she avoids confrontations with him, noting that she prefers to be more strategic. She reasoned that arguing with someone as eloquent as Jeremy would be ineffective, so she chooses to be more nimble and favors a long-term diplomatic approach.

The couple first met at a social gathering arranged by a shared acquaintance nine years ago. Back then, she was acquainted with his journalism for The Sun and The Sunday Times rather than his work in front of the cameras.

Speaking about the presenter behind closed doors, she commented that he is always incredibly inquisitive, with his mind constantly active. She noted that he would arrive full of energy about the smallest things, and she appreciated this quality.

She added that she used to let her son stay up to watch Top Gear, but never watched it herself. She knew him better from his writing, having always enjoyed his columns. She thought he was bright and probably amusing, and she believes he would be amusing.
