Officers from Oxfordshire seized a Vauxhall car after the motorist ran away from police.

The incident occurred on the evening of Wednesday, April 15, when law enforcement attempted to make contact with the driver of the Vauxhall who fled.

The force later located the automobile and took possession of it from the registered address of the owner.

A spokesperson for the west Oxfordshire division said officers PC Speek and PCSO Duffield tried to talk to the driver last night, but the vehicle drove off. Following further inquiries, the car has now been recovered from the registered address. Items discovered inside the vehicle, including bank cards and a passport, have been secured. Members of the public are asked to contact 101 and quote reference number INC-20260414-2008 to arrange collection and resolve the matter.
