Oxford customers of Rosa’s Thai have the opportunity to win a complimentary journey to Bangkok as the restaurant chain celebrates the Thai New Year.

To mark the Songkran festival, the establishment is running a prize draw alongside special menu items and complimentary pad Thai at select locations.

Rosa’s Thai has joined forces with Singha Beer to provide diners with an enhanced experience.

The restaurant chain, working with Singha Beer, has revealed a prize draw featuring a Bangkok trip as the main reward.

Customers who make reservations and eat at any Rosa’s Thai location throughout April will automatically qualify for the drawing.

Patrons must secure a table booking at any participating Rosa’s Thai during the designated timeframe and finalize their reservation for their submission to be valid.

Multiple dining experiences improve winning prospects, as each in-restaurant meal constitutes another contest entry.

The randomly chosen recipient, announced on May 1, will receive a two-person experience comprising economy return flights from a major British airport to Thailand’s capital, inclusive of all taxes and charges, with a maximum value of £3,000.

The prize additionally includes a five-night consecutive hotel stay at accommodation selected by Rosa’s Thai or their travel partner.

The Songkran festival, held yearly from April 13 to April 15, constitutes a major cultural event in Thailand.

It features water-based rituals intended to cleanse away the past year, representing renewal, alongside family gatherings, shared meals, and showing respect to elders.

To observe this occasion, Rosa’s Thai has developed two exclusive dishes available throughout April.

These consist of ‘Larb Gai’, a zesty chicken salad linked to good luck, and ‘Pineapple Fried Rice’, a golden-hued dish representing health and wealth.

Established by Saiphin and Alex Moore, the UK-wide restaurant chain originated as a market stall at Brick Lane’s Sunday market before gaining popularity across the country.

Opening its inaugural restaurant on Hanbury Street, adjacent to Spitalfields Market, in London in 2008, Rosa’s Thai now operates over 40 establishments in cities such as Manchester, Birmingham, and Leeds.

The chain arrived in Oxford in August 2023, taking over premises formerly occupied by another Thai restaurant brand called Busaba, which had shut its doors.
