Police attended a domestic dispute in the northern area of Oxfordshire.
Officers collaborated with members of the incident and crime response team in Banbury on Thursday, April 16.
The reported victim was confirmed as being safe, and the suspect was subsequently arrested.
A force representative stated that team members assisted ICR units in dealing with the domestic incident in Banbury. They ensured the victim’s safety before locating and detaining the individual. Cannabis was found, resulting in a community resolution being applied. The individual will be questioned about the domestic offence.
A community resolution is a restorative method that operates outside formal legislation. Forces employ this approach to handle minor offences or anti-social behaviour without commencing formal criminal justice procedures.
