Prospective students are receiving notifications today regarding primary school placements, following the closure of application windows in January.
A comprehensive compilation of all primary schools in Oxford has been assembled, sourced from the Oxfordshire County Council website, along with their corresponding Ofsted evaluations.
The education regulator had previously employed a controversial single-word rating system but has since replaced it with an updated “report card” approach. This new framework seeks to deliver a more transparent overview of conditions within individual school settings.
These assessments can classify areas as exceptional, strong standard, expected standard, needs attention, or urgent improvement. Institutions may still receive ratings of exceptional or urgent improvement across all categories.
