The television personality surprised an admirer by striking up conversation after being noticed at an establishment in Miami.

The host has become familiar to viewers through his collaborations with Richard Hammond and James May on the BBC’s motoring programme Top Gear and the subsequent Prime Video series The Grand Tour.

Beyond the automotive-focused entertainment, Mr Clarkson has achieved additional recognition through his agricultural series, Clarkson’s Farm.

The Prime Video production, which currently spans four seasons with a fifth installment scheduled, provides insight into daily operations at Diddly Squat Farm located in Chadlington.

The 66-year-old has also served as presenter for ITV’s Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? beginning in 2018, taking over from Chris Tarrant, who had hosted the quiz show since its launch.

The television personality recently brought joy to an admirer while visiting Miami in the United States to celebrate his birthday.

The host, who celebrated his 66th birthday on Saturday (April 11), crossed the Atlantic to Miami, where he witnessed Inter Miami’s 2-2 match against New York Red Bulls.

During the sporting event, he was presented with a birthday cake by fellow Cotswolds celebrity resident Sir David Beckham, who holds ownership of the football club and resides in Oxfordshire near Mr Clarkson.

While in Miami, an automobile enthusiast and admirer of Mr Clarkson recognized the television personality at a bar and approached him for conversation.

The fan shared video footage of their exchange through his Jaguar Daily Driver Instagram account, stating: “They say never meet your heroes. I say screw that.

“Met Jeremy Clarkson today and we had a nice chat about jaaags and cars. He was quite happy to see a pic of my f type with the speed and power license plate, and loved the ski’s and rack.

“A real red letter day for me. Jeremy, thank you for taking a few minutes out of your day to make a huge fan very happy. Happy birthday JC.
