Cotswolds tourism campaign launches on London Underground

Published on

A satirical promotional display showcasing the Cotswolds region has been spotted on London Underground trains over the past few weeks.

An individual from Oxfordshire came across the Zoopla property search platform’s marketing banner while visiting the capital on Monday, April 13.

The promotional message read that it could help people discover the value of their home and their boss’s second home in the Cotswolds.

The commuter, who wished to remain anonymous, photographed the advertisement material after finding it entertaining and shared the image with this newspaper.

Following a day of travelling through the Tube network, the commuter reported spotting the Cotswolds referenced on the promotional displays positioned above the carriage seats.

The commuter noted that the display seemed rather cheeky and provided a good laugh.

Zoopla functions as a United Kingdom property website and smartphone application that permits users to search for properties to buy or rent and provides estate agents with marketing and listing services.
