Launton residents united for their community’s annual cleanup event.
Twenty-eight people met at Launton Parish Hall at 10am on Saturday, March 28, to participate in the village’s traditional spring tidy-up.
The initiative lasted approximately two hours, with images from the event showing bags of trash and recycling gathered by the participants.
Equipped with litter-picking tools, protective gloves, high-visibility vests, and containers for both waste and recyclables, the group spent two hours removing discarded items from the area.
Launton Parish Council coordinated the activity.
As appreciation for their hard work, participants were invited back to the parish hall for refreshments including pastries and warm beverages supplied by the Launton Women’s Institute.
