Sharon Osbourne is assisting with a £5 million UK property giveaway almost 12 months after her husband Ozzy’s passing.

The 73-year-old entertainment manager resides in Buckinghamshire, just over the border from Oxfordshire, on her £4 million estate.

She previously shared this home with Ozzy, who tragically passed away in July of the previous year, when air ambulance teams stationed in Oxfordshire responded to assist.

Now the former X Factor panellist is helping to promote a £5 million residence in Windermere, located in the Lake District, along with £250,000 in cash.

These prizes form part of a new fundraising initiative for the homelessness charity Centrepoint.

The prize package includes a beautifully appointed five-bedroom property spanning over half an acre, situated in a peaceful location with views across Windermere and the surrounding fells.

The contemporary lakeside home is conveniently located near Windermere town centre and also features a separate two-storey boathouse offering additional stunning vistas across the water.

The property is offered without a mortgage, with all associated costs including stamp duty and legal fees fully covered, along with £170,000 worth of furniture and fittings included.

The fortunate winner will additionally receive £250,000 in spending money to assist with their transition, and may elect to occupy the property, lease it for additional income, or sell it to become a wealthy cash recipient.

If the winner opts to retain the property, the £250,000 sum would enable them to maintain the home for numerous years.

Should they decide to rent the property out, local property experts suggest it could command approximately £5,500 per month on a long-term tenancy basis.

The impressive 5,400 square foot residence has been thoughtfully designed to maximise its waterside location, featuring floor-to-ceiling glazing, balconies and terraces that frame uninterrupted panoramas across Windermere.

Centrepoint’s Independent Living Programme presents an innovative approach to the youth homelessness problem, establishing high-quality, purpose-built accommodation with rents limited to one-third of occupants’ earnings, providing young people with the stability required to develop skills, accumulate savings and determine their own futures.
