A soothing afternoon focused on wellbeing was held at a local care residence.
Southerndown Care Home in Chipping Norton welcomed residents, their families, friends, and staff members to a gathering devoted to relaxation and strengthening connections.
The session was delivered by Sarah Jones of Brave Kind Minds, also based in Chipping Norton, who created a warm and inclusive atmosphere.
General manager Subra Krishnan said the home was delighted to arrange such a meaningful occasion and that it was touching to see residents, relatives, and team members coming together to enjoy calmness and shared connection.
Participants took part in mindfulness practices designed to encourage peace, togetherness, and holistic health.
Operated by Barchester Healthcare, Southerndown Care Home provides accommodation, nursing care, and dementia services for 81 people, with both respite and long-term placement options available.
The home thanked Ms Jones for directing the event.
