A car washing fundraiser at Wantage Fire Station in Ormond Road raised more than £1,000 for a good cause.
The station accumulated £1,058 for The Fire Fighters Charity during the event, which attracted significant support from people living nearby.
In remarks shared on social media, the station said how it wanted to thank all those who came along to the car wash.
Crew members worked through bright sunshine and heavy rain, using cleaning products to get the job done.
The kindness and backing from supporters made this happen, and the team was thankful for the encouragement received.
Local residents responded positively online, with James Goodman saying he valued everything the crew does.
Paul Keen wrote congratulations to Wantage.
Caroline Emanuel noted it was good work.
The Ormond Road station relies on retained firefighters to operate.
