Police ask public to help identify person of interest in investigation

Detectives are hoping to trace a person in connection with an incident involving a door being hit with significant force.

Thames Valley Police has released CCTV footage of an individual officers would like to speak to regarding what happened in Didcot.

The incident occurred when someone approached a victim’s property and delivered a powerful kick to the door on Newlands Avenue in Didcot on Sunday March 29 between 7pm and 8.30pm.

What prompted the man’s behaviour towards the door is not yet known.

PC Matt Allinson from Thames Valley Police said officers are working to establish who the person captured in the CCTV footage is, as they may have information that could prove useful to their investigation.

Anyone who recognises the individual shown, or who is the person in the footage, has been asked to get in touch with Thames Valley Police via their website or by calling 101, quoting incident reference 43260153059.

Those with relevant information can also contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
