Three individuals have received prison sentences after stealing items valued at £8,000 from a residence in a village.

At approximately 11am on March 10, 2025, Scott Stockbridge, aged 48, Justin Stockbridge, aged 51, and Kaine Milstead, aged 30, broke into a home located in Culworth, situated just north of Banbury.

The thieves made off with several antique pieces, including a copper cauldron, Punch and Judy doorsteps, sizable antique brass oil lamp stands, and a mirror, with a collective value of £8,000.

They escaped the location driving a white Ford Transit van.

Northamptonshire Police’s Burglary Team conducted an investigation leading to the arrests of the Stockbridge brothers and Milstead shortly afterward.

All three suspects faced charges relating to the incident.

Justin Stockbridge admitted guilt to the offenses during August proceedings at Aylesbury Crown Court.

Scott Stockbridge, formerly residing in Southall, entered pleas of not guilty but was ultimately convicted of the burglary after a trial at Aylesbury Crown Court in November.

During the same proceedings, he was also found guilty of theft, dangerous driving, and driving while disqualified, all occurring in the Thames Valley region.

The Stockbridge brothers appeared again at Aylesbury Crown Court on December 2, where Scott received a prison term of six years and nine weeks, and Justin, formerly of High Wycombe, was sentenced to two years for the burglary.

Kaine Milstead, previously of Beaconsfield and also Scott Stockbridge’s son, admitted guilt to the offenses in December at Northampton Magistrates’ Court.

He returned to that same court on March 26 and was handed a sentence of two years and six months for the Culworth burglary and driving offenses in the Thames Valley area.
