An image has been published showing a narcotics trafficker who concealed heroin and crack cocaine inside an aerosol deodorant container.
Daniel Carruthers, residing in Blue Mountains, Wallingford, received his sentence at Oxford Crown Court on Thursday, March 26.
The 34-year-old was convicted during proceedings last year of having in his possession with the purpose of supplying two class A substances, specifically heroin and crack cocaine.
This case concerned an occurrence when authorities discovered narcotics at a residence on Northfield Road, Headington, on May 29 of the previous year.
Carruthers additionally received sentencing for one charge of assault resulting in actual bodily harm, unlawful possession of an offensive weapon in a private setting—in this case, a zombie knife—and possession of cocaine and marijuana.
He admitted guilt to these offenses, which took place in London on April 18, 2022.
Carruthers was sentenced to a combined term of eight years in prison, and orders were issued for the seizure and destruction of the narcotics and mobile phone that were recovered.
