A resident of Oxford was discovered deceased at his residence, according to proceedings at an inquest.

Lee Sutton, a 53-year-old who resided in Oxford, passed away on December 21 of the previous year.

Oxfordshire Coroner’s Court held an inquest opening on March 25, conducted by senior coroner Darren Salter.

According to reports, he was discovered at his home address with no response and revival efforts were unsuccessful.

His death was attributed to drug toxicity, cardiac hypertrophy, small vessel coronary arteriosclerosis, and ischaemic heart disease.

The inquest was informed that Mr Sutton was identified through photographic comparison.

The matter has been postponed for a full inquest scheduled for June 18 at 11:30am at Oxfordshire Coroner’s Court.
