The 2026 season of Gladiators has wrapped up, with two competitors claiming victory in the season finale.

Emily Bell and Naomi Church faced off for the women’s championship, while Josh McDonald and Tyler Spence battled for the men’s title.

The pairs competed through five main events and the Eliminator to determine the champions.

Bradley and Barney Walsh, a father-son team, once again guided viewers through the competition, with Guy Mowbray handling commentary duties.

Prior to the finale broadcast, an episode preview stated: “In the final, Viper leaves the Gladiators gobsmacked, Bradley races Electro on the track, and much to Guy Mowbray’s surprise, Legend tries his hand at commentary.”

The women’s competition resulted in Emily taking the title, while Josh emerged victorious in the men’s event.

Emily was the youngest female competitor in this season of Gladiators, turning 23 on the day the final was filmed.

She ended up facing the oldest contestant in the competition, Naomi, who is 40 years old.

The business consultant and former England U16 hockey captain got off to a strong start, building a lead over Emily in the ‘Destruction’ challenge, but lost momentum in ‘The Edge’ and ‘Duel’.

This gave Emily a six-and-a-half-second advantage in the final Eliminator, which she used to cross the finish line first.

Josh, a former Royal Marine Commando trainee now working as an Area Sales Manager, defeated Tyler in the men’s competition.

Josh took an early lead over Tyler in the opening ‘Unleash’ challenge and maintained that advantage throughout.

He carried a three-second lead into the final Eliminator, but it remained close until Josh reached the top of the travelator first and completed the course.

The rebooted BBC series awards winners a trophy designed like the “G” logo.

This differs from the original ITV version from the 1990s, which presented contestants with cash and a new vehicle.

Across seven series of the UK Gladiators on ITV, 12 cars and prizes worth over £45,000 in total were awarded.
