A man aged 25 has been arrested by police on suspicion of domestic-related offences following a car chase that started in Reading and ended in Henley.

Thames Valley Police have confirmed that the large police presence seen in Henley-on-Thames on Thursday afternoon (March 26) was the result of a police pursuit that began in Reading and finished in Henley, where officers brought the situation to an end.

The 25-year-old was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence offences, dangerous driving, and driving without a valid licence.

He is currently being held in custody.
