Police conducted a raid at a home in Banbury, entering the property by force where officers found what are believed to be illegal drugs.

The local neighbourhood policing team carried out the operation in the north Oxfordshire market town on the morning of Thursday, March 26.

Thames Valley Police have declined to reveal the precise details of what was taken during the search, though officers say further investigations are currently underway.

The operation follows another warrant executed at a separate address in Banbury earlier during the same week.

According to a force representative, the community can rest assured that the police respond to information provided to them and will maintain their efforts whenever issues are flagged. The representative stated that two warrants have been successful within seven days and their pace will not decrease. The representative emphasised that tips from the public truly assist officers in keeping neighbourhoods safe and encouraged anyone who observes anything concerning to report it, assuring that police will handle the rest.
