One source indicated that Hollow Way has been shut to all traffic and pedestrians at Ivy Close, with officers from both the police and fire service in attendance.

Stagecoach has confirmed that routes 10 and 600 will follow an alternate route along the bypass while the road remains closed.

One person who made contact described seeing several police officers, firefighters and ambulance personnel at the scene. They reported observing workers communicating through a letter box but could not clarify what was happening.
