Officers from Oxford have apprehended an individual who was sought by authorities in connection with a theft inquiry.
The man’s capture on Thursday evening involved collaboration between members of the Thames Valley Police rural crime unit and a constable based in Oxford.
Law enforcement officials indicate the suspect was sought for questioning regarding the theft of agricultural equipment.
He is now being held in detention and will undergo questioning by officers.
An image distributed alongside the police statement depicted a handcuffed man inside a police station, escorted by one officer while another walked alongside.
The rural crime unit prioritises agricultural offences, which encompass the stealing or destruction of farming equipment, vandalism to property, taking of tools and concerns related to livestock.
