Richard Branson has provided a health update as supporters send messages of encouragement to the entrepreneur.
The 75-year-old founder of Virgin resided for approximately two decades at a rural property in Mill End, Kidlington, before reportedly transferring ownership to his offspring in 2013.
He subsequently relocated to Necker Island, his exclusive Caribbean retreat.
Sir Richard and Joan tied the knot in 1989 and are parents to two offspring, Holly and Sam.
Sir Richard revealed last year that his devoted spouse and companion of half a century had passed away.
Nevertheless, during a January social media post, Sir Richard posted a photograph displaying his right arm in a support sling.
The Virgin Group founder had previously tumbled from his cycle while visiting India the previous year, striking a road defect and coming off his bike.
In a recent statement, Branson indicated he is making excellent progress and that the speed of his rehabilitation exceeded his expectations.
He stated that three months following his shoulder procedure, he was pleased to be engaging in kite-surfing, tennis and cycling once more.
Given the severity of the damage to his ligaments, he had not anticipated such rapid recuperation. He expressed gratitude to Dr. Andrew Sankey for performing such excellent work during the operation.
He mentioned his delight at participating in pickleball and tennis competitions again, and at resuming preparation for the Strive Challenges. He noted his tennis serve was improving as well.
He emphasised that physical fitness serves as the fundamental basis of his existence, with everything else stemming from it. He adhered strictly to his rehabilitation programme, and it proved remarkable what could be achieved through skilled surgical intervention combined with committed recovery work.
Wellwishers have conveyed their happiness at the entrepreneur’s rehabilitation, with one commenting on their pleasure at seeing him active again.
Another individual wrote that it was wonderful news and they were glad to have him back and preparing for Iceland.
A third individual observed that they had witnessed him playing tennis for hours daily, cycling for extended periods up inclines, kite-surfing numerous times throughout a single day, and either drumming or visiting the gym for half an hour at midday on top of everything else. They declared him the greatest entrepreneur of all time.
