Oxford Mail Camera Club participants have been exploring unconventional viewpoints.

This served as the most recent weekly challenge, producing an intriguing collection of images taken throughout the city and its surroundings.

Famous Oxford University buildings appeared alongside photographs capturing regional scenery and animal life.

Numerous strong contenders emerged for the weekly image honour, though as several member favourites had already been showcased, organisers chose this late submission from Anne Rixon, depicting a village church mirrored alongside seasonal blossoms.

Club members receive a new creative brief each week and share their submissions on the group’s Facebook profile.

Chosen works then appear in the Oxford Mail, The Oxford Times and digital platforms, with one image designated as the weekly standout.

The upcoming assignment, voted for by members themselves, carries the title water in motion.
