Brooklyn Beckham is reportedly negotiating for a candid television programme as the rift with his parents Sir David and Victoria Beckham continues.
Sir David, who enjoyed a distinguished career as a footballer with Manchester United and the England national side, and his singer wife Victoria have resided in the Oxfordshire Cotswolds for ten years.
The pair own a substantial property in Great Tew close to Chipping Norton and have been caught up in a very public family dispute for some time.
The situation intensified last month when their eldest son published explosive claims in a lengthy post on social media.
Brooklyn claimed that his mother took over his first dance with his wife Nicola Peltz, performing in an inappropriate manner with him before their wedding guests, and that he had never felt more humiliated or uncomfortable in his life.
He further claimed that his spouse had been treated without respect by his family and had been excluded from his father’s 50th birthday celebrations.
According to The Sun, Brooklyn is now in discussions about a candid streaming series on Hulu that would address the ongoing family dispute.
A source informed the newspaper that Brooklyn is receptive to the idea. As well as documenting his food business, executives at Hulu are hoping he will discuss the shocking split with his mother and father.
The insider noted that Hulu, which is part of Disney, is no ordinary platform. It is the home of internationally successful programmes including The Kardashians.
A show of this nature would instantly elevate the family into major league entertainment and position them as direct rivals to Netflix, which already has Beckham connections through documentary projects by both of Brooklyn’s parents.
Brooklyn and Nicola have previously been approached with lucrative interview offers but declined them all.
Earlier this month, Sir David made an attempt to ease the strain with an Instagram post marking his son’s 27th birthday on Wednesday, March 4.
He shared an emotional message accompanied by a crying face emoji and white love heart, wishing his son a happy birthday and expressing their love for him.
