FIRE SERVICE STATEMENT
Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue stated that the service was called today at 1:44pm, sending three fire engines to the M40 between Junction 9 and Junction 8A. At the location there was a vehicle that had been destroyed by fire. The hard shoulder and lane one were closed as a precaution. Crews departed at 2:41pm.
Whether any injuries occurred has not yet been verified.
