The compilation showcases the leading 50 bakeries across the nation, with 22 fresh additions for 2026. According to the guide, it represents a selection that highlights the remarkable diversity and vigour of contemporary British baking. The publication noted that the list honours bakers who are pushing boundaries by working with heritage grains cultivated regionally and stone-milled locally, while also bringing an expanding variety of international flavours to weekend pastry purchases.
Hamblin Bread appears among the 50 selected establishments, though it was not among the new entrants this year.
The bakery offers an extensive range of freshly made sweet and savoury items, from sausage rolls to cardamom buns.
