Celebrity Traitors series two rumoured lineup includes Stephen Graham

The hit reality series Celebrity Traitors is set to come back for another run on television, with speculation mounting about which famous faces might be taking part.

The broadcaster has yet to officially announce who will feature in the upcoming edition, though excitement is building among viewers.

Claudia Winkleman remains at the helm of the programme, which proved enormously popular after the standard version of the game had already won over audiences.

Social media has been buzzing with fan theories about potential contestants for the second instalment.

One Reddit user put forward names of two well-known British performers, claiming both had shown enthusiasm about appearing on the programme. Another contributor floated the idea of a Benidorm regular joining the cast, describing him as ideally suited to the role of deceiver. The commenter noted this individual possesses sharp intellect that could serve him well in defending himself against accusations, while also possessing the kind of creative flair that would make for compelling television. The same source added that his intelligence might paradoxically work against him if assigned to the loyal team, potentially leading to his premature elimination by suspicious fellow players.

Reports emerging from one publication suggest an Adolescence actor is in talks to join the cast, with sources close to the situation describing the production team as highly motivated to secure his participation and calling such an acquisition a significant coup.

A musician from a famous British band apparently indicated on social media that he had received overtures about appearing on the programme, responding to a follower by confirming he had been approached.

A performer known for roles in The Football Factory and the long-running soap opera EastEnders is also said to be under consideration, with coverage indicating he had declined the initial offer but subsequently changed his mind after witnessing the entertainment value of the programme. According to reports, industry sources had long considered him their preferred choice but had encountered resistance until he saw how much enjoyment participants derived from the experience last autumn, at which point his attitude shifted dramatically and negotiations commenced promptly.

Other names circulating include a Britain’s Got Talent judge, a comedian with a reputation for comic performances, and another established comedy figure.

A representative for the broadcaster indicated that no announcements regarding speculation would be made at this stage, with formal confirmation expected in due course.
