A proposal has been submitted to transform an end-of-terrace property into a six-bedroom house in multiple occupation (HMO).
The dwelling, situated adjacent to garage facilities on Edward Street in Abingdon, would operate under similar arrangements to those granted permission recently on the same street for a seven-bedroom property.
David Maundrell has lodged the application with Vale of White Horse District Council, seeking consent for a change of use along with internal alterations described as minor in scope.
According to planning documentation, one such modification involves the addition of a ground floor connecting passage.
The application materials confirm that no external changes to the property will be undertaken.
The scheme would accommodate more than six unrelated residents who would utilise shared communal spaces and facilities.
Planning submissions indicate that no vehicle parking spaces will be created on the premises, with tenancy contracts set to acknowledge this arrangement as outlined in the management strategy.
The development would instead feature secure bicycle storage provisions.
Vale of White Horse District Council will consider and determine the outcome of the planning submission at an appropriate juncture.
