The television presenter Richard Hammond has spoken openly about significant life changes following his departure from a long-running motoring programme two years ago.
The 56-year-old broadcaster, recognised primarily for his work on Top Gear and The Grand Tour, concluded his professional collaboration with Jeremy Clarkson and James May in 2024.
Shortly after that, his marriage to Mindy also ended.
Recent reports indicate that Hammond has since entered a new relationship with a school governor from Oxfordshire.
Kiki Glen serves as a governor at Headington Rye School in Oxford.
She has two daughters, aged 26 and 24.
Hammond himself has two daughters, Izzy and Willow, who are 26 and 23 respectively.
The couple were first romantically linked earlier this year and have since been seen together in public on multiple occasions.
Hammond and Mindy publicly announced the dissolution of their 28-year marriage in January 2025.
The pair released a joint statement at that time, explaining that they had spent Christmas together as a family but would be restructuring their relationship going forward.
The statement noted that while their marriage was ending, they remained proud of their family life together and intended to remain part of each other’s lives.
Following the separation, Hammond relocated to a different part of the country.
In a subsequent interview, he discussed how his daily routine had evolved since his broadcasting career shifted.
He mentioned taking up regular golf and committed to more intensive running.
He also revealed plans to compete in a small triathlon in the coming year, which would require him to learn open-water swimming techniques.
