A healthcare charity based in Oxfordshire has been gifted a sum of money as part of a charitable giving initiative.
The Long Hanborough and Eynsham Medical Care Group Charity was presented with a contribution of £200.
The cheque was handed over on August 25, with the funds originating from the Masonic Charitable Foundation’s Relief Chest Scheme.
The organisation operates entirely through voluntary contributions and supports patients registered with the Eynsham Medical Group.
Equipment funded by the charity includes examination couches and ECG diagnostic machines.
Current provisions also cover a home delivery service for medications, catering specifically to individuals who are unable to leave their residences and those considered vulnerable.
Dr.
Emma Ladds, who serves as chair of the charity, formally received the donation.
The presentation was conducted by Mr.
Roy Thomas, who leads the Patient Participation Group associated with the Eynsham Medical Group.
