A property professional with extensive industry experience has rejoined Savills at the Oxford office following a three-year absence from the firm.
Iain Powis has returned to the commercial real estate company in the position of associate director, with responsibilities centred on residential development sales activities.
Prior to his most recent appointment, Powis held senior positions at two independent real estate businesses.
His earlier career included an 11-year tenure with Savills, accumulating almost two decades of property sector expertise overall.
In a statement regarding his appointment, Powis expressed enthusiasm about rejoining the residential development sales division in Oxford.
He cited the collaborative working environment and the company’s established market standing as primary factors in his decision to return.
Powis noted that Savills had contributed significantly to his professional growth and indicated his intention to build upon that earlier foundation.
Powis will provide advisory services to housebuilders, property developers, landowners, and institutional investors concerning the implementation and marketing of residential projects throughout Oxfordshire and additional locations.
His responsibilities will be executed within the framework of Savills’ development advisory unit, which delivers expertise spanning planning, valuations, building consultancy, and sales operations across residential, rural, and commercial sectors.
Nicola Horner, who leads Savills Residential Development Sales in the region, welcomed the appointment.
She highlighted Powis’ comprehensive background within the residential development sector and his detailed knowledge of the Oxfordshire property landscape.
Horner noted his demonstrated ability to counsel developers and landowners alongside his methodical approach to residential development initiatives.
