A construction professional has received accolades for exceptional site management work.
Rob Ewers, employed by Dorchester Living, was presented with both a Quality Award and a Seal of Excellence at the 2026 NHBC Pride in the Job Awards.
The recognition was granted for his contributions at the Heyford Park development in Oxfordshire.
This marks the third consecutive year that Mr Ewers has received acknowledgment from the NHBC.
Paul Silver, Chief Executive of Dorchester Living, commented that the Pride in the Job Awards present significant challenges for construction professionals, with consistency across multiple years proving particularly demanding.
He noted that Mr Ewers’ achievement of securing both award categories in his third consecutive year represents a notable accomplishment.
The Seal of Excellence was described as elevating the standard further and providing substantial recognition for the Heyford Park project.
Mr Silver highlighted that the technical abilities demonstrated by Mr Ewers and his colleagues, combined with their attention to quality and safety standards, align with Dorchester Living’s expectations.
He added that following recent Planning Award victories, this newest recognition further demonstrates the team’s importance in developing high-quality residential schemes.
Dorchester Living’s principal project at Heyford Park occupies the location of the former RAF Upper Heyford airbase, where in excess of 1,200 residential properties have been completed.
The NHBC Pride in the Job Awards are widely regarded as the industry standard for construction excellence, with judging conducted across an eighteen-month period.
Evaluations of site managers cover technical knowledge, health and safety practices, supervisory abilities, and overall construction standards.
The latest honour follows recent achievements at the Planning Awards, where Heyford Park received distinction in categories for Best Use of Brownfield Land and Plan-Making.
